The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has unveiled two residential schemes near the upcoming Noida International Airport, featuring a total of 468 flats and 1,184 plots ranging in size from 120 to 2,000 square meters. The plot scheme, in particular, has seen an impressive response, garnering 1,200 applications on its very first day. A draw is scheduled for October 18 to determine allotments for these properties.
YEIDA’s plot scheme initiative provides a golden opportunity for potential homebuyers in Gautam Buddha Nagar. The project’s residential offerings are strategically located in proximity to the forthcoming Jewar International Airport, generating considerable interest among applicants.
The residential offerings encompass diverse plot sizes, with 194 plots available in the 120 square meter category and 260 plots in the 162 square meter category. Moreover, the 200 square meter category has a limited allotment of only 466 plots. For those seeking larger plots, there are 208 options in the 300 square meter category, 24 plots in the 500 square meter category, 13 plots in the 1000 square meter category, and 19 plots in the 2000 square meter category.
Applicants for the plot scheme have until September 1 to submit their applications. Subsequently, a draw will be conducted on October 18 to allocate plots within sectors 16, 17, and 20. The plots are priced at Rs 24,600 per square meter.
Interested individuals can acquire the application form and brochure from YEIDA’s official website, www.yamunaexpresswayauthority.com, for a fee of Rs 500 (excluding GST). Officials have reported overwhelming enthusiasm for the residential schemes from the outset.
An official stated, “The schemes have garnered significant interest due to the rapid progress of the airport project, anticipated to commence commercial operations by 2024. This is coupled with the ongoing development of infrastructure and industrial ventures along the Yamuna Expressway. On the inaugural day, the plot scheme alone received an astonishing 1,200 applications.”
YEIDA’s ongoing 2BHK flat scheme in Sector 22D has also experienced a positive reception. With over 3,000 applications received for the 468 ready-to-move units, more than 600 applicants have already submitted a security deposit of 10% of the total flat cost, amounting to Rs 42.3 lakh. In light of the overwhelming demand, YEIDA has transitioned from a first-come, first-served approach to a lucky draw mechanism for allotments.
